Dedicated to the men and women who, through their tireless endeavors, have preserved and enriched the tradition and artistry of mummery. |

A campaign has been launched to pay tribute to the men and women, past and present,
who have preserved the tradition of mummery as we know it today. Through their tireless
efforts, a tradition which began over 300 years ago and has entertained millions of people,
the art and folklore of mummery, has flourished. It is these individuals, not only the costumed
marcher, but the seamstress, marshall, designer, carpenter, civic leader, and many other individuals
who have contributed to this custom, whom the the Mummers Wall of Honor permanently enshrines. Proceeds will be used to enhance or replace current museum exhibits which are more than 20 years old. The Mummers Wall of Honor was unveiled in the spring of 1996. When you make a $100 contribution to the enhancement of the exhibit area of the Mummers Museum, the name you designate will be permanently placed on the Mummers Wall of Honor. You will receive a handsome certificate, personalied with the name and affiliation of the individual you choose to honor. In addition all names will be entered , together with a biography and the name of the donor, into a computer register. Guidelines for registration
